Enough to save the World?
Friday Jun 30, 2023
Friday Jun 30, 2023
Are you trying to save the world? Or anyone else for that matter?
Do you feel like you have enough to give?
In this episode Catriona Blanke shares a beautiful story of a little desert well that tries to save the waterhole and prevent the animals in the desert from going thirsty. Is she enough though?
Cara and Cat discuss some of the themes and thoughts brought up by this story. Often we find that our own wells are depleted and still we try to give. Sharing until there is nothing left to share, and still our efforts fall on stoney ground. Is it really our job to save the whole world?

Thursday Jun 01, 2023
Re-Becoming the One. Our world is stories, our world is us, we are Earth.
This episode has so much in it.
We begin with some of our chat from before we started the episode, discussing fairies and the spirits in our world. Martha Alter Hines shares some of her experiences and inspirations which have led to the Re-Becoming the One Symposium which starts today (1 June 2023) focusing on healing our relationships to Gender and Sexuality. Our discussion takes us on a wonder filled journey, including a detour with Cara to a seal hunter story. We touch on questions of what it is to fully inhabit this world and reconnect with aspects of the environment that have perhaps been missing from a western centric view of landscape.
Martha shares her motivations and hopes for the symposium and Cat talks about her input into the opening ceremony and storytelling as part of the first week on the divine feminine.
Full details of the symposium and sign up is here.

Taking Mary Magdalene as our starting point we see where this journey takes us. We touch on gender and masculine and feminine energies and reflect on societal expectations which affect us all. It includes a story from Cara ‘Mary is a Blacksmith’ which was originally developed with the musician Johanna Kirkpatrick. Cat discusses her Goddess research and some of the books she has used as part of the process to discover different aspects of Mary Magdalene.
